Lamp
ballasts contain an oil-filled capacitor which may contain
polychlorinated biphenyls (PCB) or di (2-ethyl hexyl) phthalate
(DEHP). PCBs and DEHP are regulated under the U.S. EPA Comprehensive
Environmental Response Compensation and Liability Act
("Superfund") as a hazardous substance.
